Sports Sunshine Coast
has been in operation since 1969 with a sole purpose
of sponsoring fostering and supporting local sport.
The highlight is the annual "Sports Star
of the Year Awards" where local Junior and
Senior Athletes receive due recognition for their
yearly performances.
We are a charity organisation that has raised
its own finance necessary to support athletes,
clubs, and events on the Sunshine Coast.

Our
area includes four shires from Caboolture in the
South, to Caloundra, Maroochy Shire and finishing
with Noosa in the North.
Since the Sydney Olympics this area can now boast
in the vicinity of $19 million in new state of
the art International Sporting Facilities.
