Specifications: The Suncoast Model Flyers Inc is the official facility for model aviation sport on the Sunshine Coast. Our facility caters for all types of model aviation including Scale,Pylon Racing,Pattern Flying,Helicopters and Gliding. We currently have the Pylon Racing World Champion and World Speed Record holder who, lives on the Sunshine Coast, using our facilities for training. He also won the Advanced Sports Star of the month for August 2001. We host the Coolum 1000 Pattern Flying event which is known Austrlaia wide as one of the prestigious Pattrern Flying competitions. Various State Titles are also held at our facilities on a regular basis.
